Creation Care
In The News | Post from Friday, July 11th
In The News | Post from Friday, July 11th
The initiative of Creation Care at St. Peterâs Episcopal Church is to weave Creation Care into the fabric of parish life and local community in the areas of sustainability, education, community partnerships, service, environmental justice, and worship. They make the connection that the natural world is a gift from God for which we should show gratitude by caring for it and using its resources responsibly. The church has developed more than a dozen strong community partners who come out to events as attenders, presenters, and project participators. On campus, theyâre producing power with a new 90-panel solar array, eliminating most single-use kitchen items, and recycling plastic film through the Trex Challenge.
